It’s easy to hide behind messages, staring at the meaningless words you’ve sent. It’s easy to say something through the phone, fabricating lies in your speech without hesitation. The real bloody challenge would be to say something directly face to face; To look at someone you talk to straight in the eye and say those words that you wrote on your messages, or repeat those speech that you spoke through the phone.
Sadly, most people would choose the easiest way ever for me: to speak about something important without seeing the people they talk to, when they are actually perfectly able to see each other directly.
Those kind of people would prefer talking through the phone over meeting, messages over talking through the phone, or even saying nothing over messages.
Never mistake cowardice for laziness or convenience.
