Uninvited Yearning.

Arrived without warning;
Entered without knocking;
Suddenly attacking.

Vague, like a gentle breeze;
Violent, like tempestuous seas;
Doing as it please.

Devoid of sympathy;
Eradicating tranquility;
Shattering harmony.

Words fail;
Body frail;
Heart turned stale.

Abruptly leaving;
Unfinished killing;
Left me wailing.

It’s as if one touch, one kiss,
would able to sate my thirst for love
for a thousand years.
